First Interstate Tournament of Social Reintegration Centers
Today the boxing family had the opportunity to be part of an historic day, as in the facilities of the Nezahualcóyotl Bordo de Xochiaca Social Reintegration Center There was a successful tournament for the benefit of humanity and second chances.
Five Reintegration Centers participated in this tournament: Tlalnepantla, Bordo de Xochiaca, Tenango del Aire, Chalco and Ecatepec. Each center was represented by 4 fighters.
28 fighters participated competing in 14 fights with six finals

The World Boxing Council, led by Mauricio Sulaiman and the Director of the Xochiaca Bordo Center, Veronica Jiménez, who we thank for her willingness and great work, presented awards to the participating fighters.
“The values, discipline and heart that are required during the practice of boxing allow this sport to be a very important tool to rebuild lives and the social tissue, which we must collectively heal. We all deserve a second chance. It is for me and the WBC a great honor to have been part of this unique event,” commented Mauricio Sulaiman.
