The Biggest Pro Boxing Event In The History Of Bangladesh – The Ultimate Glory

May 19, 2022 was marked as a historic day as Xcel was able to host the biggest pro boxing event of the country. It also marked another milestone as Bangladesh Boxing Foundation sanctioned it’s first event. Before the event, Boxing Bangladesh Foundation was able to sanction 8 fighters as professional boxers. 3 of them were sanctioned for international fights and the rest were sanctioned for local fights.

All the professional boxers sanctioned by Bangladesh Boxing Foundation fought in the event. All in all, there were 7 bouts, out of which 3 of them were international fights. Champions of India and Nepal came to Bangladesh on May 16th to fight in the South Asian Pro Boxing Fight Night, The Ultimate Glory. In the pre-event ceremony, BBF President, Adnan Haroon mentioned that this event was the start of something very big in Bangladesh boxing.

The event was made even more glorious by our boxer’s Sura Krishna Chakma & Mohammed Alamin, as they went on to defeat the Lightweight & Welterweight Champions of Nepal respectively. Out of the 7 bouts, there were 2 knock outs, and the rest 5 were decided on Judges’ scores. The entire event was affiliated by World Boxing Council & supervised by the Indian Boxing Council.
